We LOVE Sushi-grade raw fish in our household.  We love lunches and snacks using Herrings, Sardines, Anchovies and Oysters.  However, we also value the source and quality of our fish.  Fish is NOT just fish.   According to the American Pregnancy organization (www.americanpregnancy.org) there are fish groups high in mercury levels which you should avoid or only eat once every 6 months.  These are tuna (canned white albacore), sea bass (Chilean), Tuna (Yellowfin) Grouper (Florida restaurants offer that a lot), Mackerel (king), Swordfish and on and on.  Take a look at that website and this one http://safewatch.com

Remember you are feeding your body, your gut organism, your brain.  Our brains are 70% FAT.  Fish has FAT.  Environmental pollutants are stored in FAT.  I did my dissertation on environmental pollutants in water.  All that stuff ends up in your food again.
